Mission Statement...
Our Mission
The Indiana Music Educational Network (IME Network) is dedicated
to expanding the use of technology among those involved or
supportive of the arts in education.
The IME Network also recognizes the valuable impact of music
education and the arts in our public schools. Music has been
proven in various studies to positively shape individual
abilities and character. While the significance of music
education in our public schools continues to falter in our
society, the ever changing technological world around
us is expanding without boundaries.
Our organization has been created to revitalize the connection
with music education and the societal impact it once had. Through the
dynamic use of internet communication and information sharing, the IME Network will enhance the arts and provide services for those
individuals dedicated to music education in our schools, as well
as increase the efficiency for information to be retrieved and
shared.
